Nice. I tried it when I first got the game, and I didn't really know what it was. It totally crippled my card. In fact, it punched it in the face and tossed it in a gutter. It runs great with that option turned off, but turning it on is like switching on graphical hell. Haha.

Runs pretty good with all options on max including ubersampling at 1920 x 1080.

Some very slight slowdown very occasionally but nothing that breaks the game - 30fps+.

i7 980X @ 4.2Ghz (Watercooled)
2 x GTX 480's @ 900/1800/2000 (Watercooled)
6GB of DDR3 2000mhz RAM

This is one game that really heats up my room quickly though at the settings despite according to my Temp / Flow rate monitor reporting temps of around 57 - 60C for my 2 480's after a couple of hours.

Having played the game a bit and tried with both ubersampling on and off I think that I preferred the effect it had on Geralt's tunic with it on. Seemed to look better to me although I thought his hair looked slightly better with it off!!

The difference wasn't massively noticeable wih everything else at max so I guess it comes down to user preference........and the ability to maintain playable framerates

-- Of course, the heat is dissipating into your room which is perfectly good for your GPUs. Not so much for you.

I can play with everything on Ultra at 1920x1200 with two GTX680s with some dips into the 50s outside, but my monitor's default resolution is 2560x1440 and the difference in rendering that amount of pixels crushes the frame rate. In any case, the difference is pretty minimal with Ubersampling on. Not worth it for me to decrease my resolution. Lol.

Nice to see some progress and that the upgrades/new builds make a difference with this game. Kinda validates spending cash on new stuff, no?

40-50 FPS usually, but it can dip into the 30's and saw it hit high 20's once. I usually turn it off since i get 100+ fps with it off.

SLI'd 480's.
I7 920 @ 4.1ghz
12 gigs of ram
Ooh we have similar specs, I have an I7 950 with 2 480's SLI. Im re-downloading the Witcher 2 now and will re-play when the new Enhanced edition is out! Wonder how my rig will handle uber-sampling...
