Screen goes black and audio loss while playing?

this is on the force unleashed II.

this has happened to me a few times now. the screen will go black and all thats left on the screen is the force metre and health bar. also theres a slight popping noise from my speakers then i will lose audio. then i restart and its fine but it happens like after 10 mins or so gameplay. sometimes longer.

help me out?

my specs are:

ASUS Radeon HD EAH6670 1gb
8GB ram
amd fx4100 quad-core processor
1tb hard drive
windows 7 64bit
AMD HD audio driver

all up to date

its starting to bug me real bad so i need guidance thankyou

I have a similar PC and I get the same results, and it seems to be a Radeon related issue, though I cannot confirm it.

Patch the game Asphyr! ¬¬

Its not a Radeon issue. I have a gtx580 and I get the same results at times.
