Constant Game over

Currently on 3-3 and i died on the boss and this is where it's quite annoying because the game over keeps playing all the time so i can't start the stage again. Don't really want to start again when i am at the end so has this happened to anyone else?

For me the game glitched. I'm on the map screen but cannot move. Thankfully the auto save works like charm so I cannot even have backup and return some previous, working spot.

This game is pure rubbish. Combat sucks and there is nothing else than combat. Mechanics are stupid, there is no balancing and the whole thing is way too hard to be enjoyed. And this from a person that likes shmups and hard games. Avoid this like plague and do not support this garbage.

I unfortunately had the exact same problem and couldn't quit out of the game. There seems to be no fix for it; you have to use Task Manager to quit out of it (it will be on your Processes list, not your Applications list). Unfortunately, when I restarted the game, it did not retain any of my progress, and I had to start the entire game over.

Don't feel too badly if you don't beat it; I only beat it by sheer dumb luck (see the review I posted).

I agree with tubberware; the game is really not worth even a bargain-basement price. I think I paid $1.50 during the sale, so at least I'm only out the price of a large drink at Speedway, but still...

A similar lockup happened to me at the final boss. Had to kill the process with the task manager, and my progress reverted back to world 2. I will not be trying it again.

I can live with some bugs in a freeware game, or a really old game that I know hasn't been supported for a long time. But this is from 2011 and costs actual money. I am disappointed.

Exit the game before final boss works for me, the next time you die and need kill the game with the task manager you don't lose any progress...
