Mouse targeting not changing

I installed this, and I believe it's mostly working, but the targetting is stil the "slightly move the mouse, change target", even though I changed it to mousewheel option in DSMFix. Any help?

Has the recent update (dead GFWL) broken anyone else's mouse too?

Here people are lauding user Jelly Baby 34 for having supposedly solved the problem of the broken DSMfix after the Steamworks migration. I've tried everything suggested by him, but to no avail. If you want to give it a try, you could be luckier than me.

I must apologise with Jellybaby for having doubted him. The new DSMFix actually works! The problem is that I absolutely don't know what actually solved the puzzle. All I can tell you is that I've tried everything in the last three days, including a full removal of both Steam Client and the whole SteamApps folder (the games). The I proceeded to reinstall both Steam and Dark Souls (Beta dsptde 2.0, Steam Build enabled); then I downloaded the new DSFix 2.3 from here: http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?p=652 and the original Mouse Fix from here: http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~petska/, uncompressing both into my Dark Souls folder (c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition\DATA\). Then I downloaded Jellybaby's updated DLL from a.pomf.se/cndmni.zip and overwrote the original DSMFix.dll. Then, after an endless tinkering with both DSFix.ini and DSMFix.ini, especially changing this row: "dinput8dllWrapper none" to "dinput8dllWrapper dsmfix.dll" in DSFix.ini, the miracle just happened! Thank everybody who made this possible, and especially Mr Jellybaby!
