No "Strafe Jump" in Nexuiz? I didn't notice it when playing at all.
Moving the mouse hard right or left and back to center/front to increase your jump distance further than normal jumping. Like for HL2DM (Strafe Jumping) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LmnHx4HXCc |

No, they are using a static pre determined jump. There is no real skill or twitch-y-ness in movement in this game.

I would enjoy this game a lot more if it had strafe jumping.
Even better, if it had CPMA movement it'd be awesome. |

There is very little control of the jump its even worse wehn launchign off a launcher pad thing.
Also the jumping seems random, sometimes I gain sudden massive speed others I do not and due to the sudden increase in speed often I over shoot and end up falling to death or just simply not picking up the weapon or item I wanted to. |
