Cannot connect to servers which are using custom maps. Rubbish match lobby system.
Code:
Connecting to public(91.121.13.6:27030) ... 3884.234: Sending UDP connect to public IP 91.121.13.6:27030 Server using 'public' lobbies, requiring pw no, lobby id 0 RememberIPAddressForLobby: lobby 0 from address 91.121.13.6:27030 Server approved grace request... Retrying connection to 91.121.13.6:27030, server requires lobby reservation but is unreserved. Received game details information from 91.121.13.6:27030... CGCClientJobStartMatchmaking: Matchmaking timed out talking to ranking server, it may be down. Will attempt to matchmake anyway. GameTypes: could not find matching map "awp_india_csgo". [MM] Sending reservation request to 91.121.13.6:27030 [MM] Sending reservation request to 91.121.13.6:27030 If I am on the server and I change the servers map to AWP_INDIA_CSGO the server map changes and I can play. However, if the server is on AWP_INDIA_CSGO - which is not an official CS:GO map - and I want to join it from the menus (like most people would do when joining a server...) then the error above appears. The match lobby system clearly is impeding this and is causing problems for any non-official maps. Will this be fixed Valve? Surely you're not going to force us to play only maps which you have created? Is there a workaround for this? Perhaps if I add AWP_INDIA_CSGO to become a part of mg_bomb? |

Only workaround I found so far is loading up a map of the mappool (mg_bomb: de_nuke e.g.) and then when everybody connected, you change to whatever map you want (de_nuke_se or whatever)
