Um, what? This is stupid. Why don't you just play maps that are set at night, or are just dark in general? Maps, aka .bsps have baked lighting. Meaning for the most part you cannot just put something into "night mode". If you wanted to play de_dust2 at night, you would have to change the skybox, change the light_environment, and recompile it.
What you're asking is dumb and I don't know what you're on about with Valve doing something or not. Just go play night time based maps and buy some NVGs and play. |

try again @http://steamcommunity.com/groups/cssnm For not knowing about "baked lighting" Soooooooooooooorry for not knowing, but its time since CS:S had a patch, so when they come to patching they can update their lighting setup. |

No need to be nasty about what he would like to see in a game. I may not like the same thing you do in cs source, so are you going to call me dumb also?
If you don't like what his opinion is don't post and move on. Good luck with your night mode and hope it works out for you. |
