Windows 7 - 32 bit and 64 bit

Is Counter strike source compatible with windows 7 32 bit and 64bit, like will you lose fps or gain fps etc?

It's completely compatible, and really it's more up to your hardware. Software like your Operating System will make a difference, but it's almost negligible compared with what some good hardware can do.

I'm running Windows 7 x64 and all steam games run absolutely amazing with no problems or slowdowns whatsoever.

Change the screen resolution to wide screen. As you probably have a wide screen monitor lcd and you are seeing the border.

Then you should see 16:9 or 16:10 and choose which one is for you monitor then your default resolution and save it.

Unless you are talking about the border around the window mode when you alt+tab perhaps.

If this is what you mean use this command at the end of the target line.
-noborder
