Crashing Loadup
It seems ppl are having the same issue but on their netbook or laptops.
My problem is on my desktop. I can run other Valve games L4D, Tf2 no problem but i tried to play CS:S today, it loaded to the Background pic and kicked me out saying "Platform Error: Module failed to initialize" Im using 32bit win7 ulti. When i first installed it, it was fine, 1 week later(today) tried running it, and this happened. Any Clue? |

Have you tried logging out and then back in? Also when you close steam, check in task manager and make sure it is also killing it there. Some times steam will continue to run there even if you close it.

I would have tried verifying the game files first. Then went to clientregisrty.blob. Then the game but let us know if it works out for you.
