CS:S Water is Black

What are the commands so that i am able to see into water. For example the fountain on A on inferno you can see the fish swimming around.

On my game the water is black. I know it's somthing in my config but i don't know what. I use one of those FPS ones forgot what one though.

Thanks in advance.

Or you can try adding -autoconfig on the end of the target line. Or forcing a direct x level line also.

it seems to be the direct x level for me on custom maps that causes this, i got a topic up aswell and only just noticed this one, if i make it 9 its all fine but then i get a annoying bug where i can barely read my hud on maps like dust 2

Nope is still the same for me on dx 9 too. It's a command to turn off the water or somthing. I saw it somewhere before but forgot it. =(

Seems a bit like you got refraction and reflection off. Maybe they are in the autoconfig you use.

Also the autoconfig command in launch options that was proposed by PLAY_MAKER makes the game reset all settings to default your autoconfig.cfg file still will be run after setting all settings to their default values. So easiest way to test if the black water is caused by your autoconfig.cfg file is to remove or move it away from the config folder and adding the -autoconfig command in the launch options.

Remeber to remove the command after you have started the game with it because it defaults all settings on every launch.
