Door in Harvey's Shop

I just finished the game with 100% completion. But is there anyway to get into the door in the back of Harvey's Shop?

I believe the only reason for that door to exist are the credits.

Yeah, that's correct. The only reason the door is there is for the credits sequence. We even made sure the scanner was red so that you would think you wouldn't need to go in, but people are just so persistent! =)

Cool

The game taught us that red doors eventually open once we find and solve the corresponding quest. If the scanner was "grayed out" (i.e. the same color as the door), I'd be more likely to consider it a prop and not an unsolved puzzle. I kept hoping that once I'd bought all of the junk in the store, the path to that door would clear (with Harvey possibly off on some errand, with nothing of value left on the premises).

Meh. If it was grayed out I'd just be looking for batteries in his piles of junk :P
