I'm really excited by this!

Is there any chance Zeno Clash 2 will have the fabled RPG elements? It doesn't seem like it, with how you guys are shaping the game, but it sure would be great.

Yes... there are some RPG elements in the game (some leveling up / acquiring powers that unlock paths / exploration / other stuff), but we won't be talking so much in detail about some of these aspects yet. Anyways, this is still much more of a skill based game - so the action part and learning the combat mechanics is still a essential aspect of gameplay.

I still find this to be sad news and makes me loose a little interest in the game, ofcourse i'll still get it but the fact it was on the Source engine was one of the main reasons i even looked at Zeno Clash in the first place, and then you replace it with UE3? i hate UE3....

UE3 can be okay if given to good developers.

One annoyance of UE3 to me is that unless they go out of their way to make sure to change the default behavior of the engine, it will be vert-negative in it's handling of wide and extra-wide aspect ratios, cropping the top and bottom of the image and locking the horizontal FOV.

Please don't let it ruin this, I play on triple-wide aspect-ratio and almost EVERY UE3 game cannot properly support it.

We've still got a lot of development ahead before we go through some deep beta testing (we're still in pre-alpha and developing a lot of content), but thanks for the interest.

Yes I am going to buy this. Based on the awesome first game. Do it right and you can get my money for parts 3, 4, etc.
