Just completed Just Cause 2. Is it worth buying Just Cause?

I feel I may be let down by Just Cause after completing Just Cause 2, mainly because Just Cause is now 6 years old.

Is it still worth getting after I have completed Just Cause 2?

EDIT: Never mind, there are no Steam Achievements in Just Cause. That makes it a no-buy for me.

I've not played JC1, but I've asked the same thing of people who have. From what I gather, it's just a cheap knock-off of Grand Theft Auto. It's not nearly as fun or creative as JC2. Again, I haven't played it, that's just what I've been told.
