Quickloads are all in the mind

Theatricality on:

Whether I am incompetent in a certain feat, or I am curious about a certain method, I will be able to play it all out... not in a elastic and reversible reality, but in my mind. So, I think I have a way to justify the use of quick saves and quick loads.

They are the daydreams of the player character.

Yes, they are the daydreams of player character. Constantly playing out a series of "what-ifs" before he or she actually jumps into the fray. And so, we can simply say that as we perform the most efficient method of dispatching a group of enemies after dying countless times in our minds, that we, the player character, simply have very very good planning skills... and predictive foresight.

I'm FINE with the Daydream aspect...as long as after you've been Victorious in said 'Daydream' you return AND DO THE WHOLE THING AGAIN AWAKE!

...otherwise you're just living a dream...

Great thought, interesting concept as justification for said use, but I'll stick with the tried and true unapologetic, I screwed up and died so I'll reload scenario. It doesn't bother me one bit!

Agreed! I hate doing something well and forgetting to F6. Then having to reload and do it all over again.

Yes, it was all real, until you hit "New Game".

What I want to know is; does this mean that, technically, once you do something correctly, you should [load] wake up and do it again the same way as you now know that it works?
