All settings reset today? 11/1

So I just started Borderlands, to find it boot up like I did the first time (No Vsync, Low Res, etc) which is strange since I haven't touched anything since it was fine last night.

A buddy of mine told me the same thing happened to him at the same time. Anyone else have this same issue? Was there a small patch or something we dont know about?

Mine were reset also.

I figured it was because I changed my FOV to 100 and disabled smoothing and this was the first time in a few days I restarted Steam, and Steam changed it back.

Uh, whoa. I just booted my game up and all my settings (even video/keyboard) were set to default this morning. I didn't change a thing on my own.

This is craptastic.

I can confirm that my settings as well as my friend's were also reset. WTF?

Reset on everything except intro vids because I deleted those

I commented them out, and therefore they were back.

I deleted them in rage when I couldn't skip them...what a weird thing to do...time is precious!

this happened to me too.

but also i think i got a performance boost somehow?

'cause now i am running the game with dynamic shadows, when it would run poorly before...

anyone else get something like that?

same here. steam didnt restart, yet magically all my settings have returned to their defaults (video/keyboard/etc)

Sure enough, all my settings reverted to default as well. Perhaps this was the result of some sort of hotfix or stealth patch?
