Ok, I am getting so sick and tired of looking for this particular weapon

It's the AR3. I know it's in this game somewhere, and before anyone says otherwise, YES, IT DOES EXIST. I cleared Half Life 2 as well as Episode one with it, and it made the game fun as hell for me. I trust I am not the only one who cleared the game with it in the past two installments.

In Half Life 2, the original one, I remember you got it from using the raining mines that the Helicopter dropped as stairs to enter the chopper and from there you held the pilot at gunpoint. In a fear of dying, he confessed that it was located on a neighboring island guarded by 16 striders. This wasn't the only location of course, as you could easily have obtained the weapon at the prologue of the game when the guard asked you to pick up the can and throw it away.

If you stare at him for about 10 minutes, just tossing the can in his face, he rewards you for your rebellion by bringing you to Carl. Carl at first glance just seems like a normal everyday kind of combine soldier, but you find out from a lengthy talk with him that he doesn't want to be a combine soldier; he wants to be a combine b-boy. So he gives you the AR3.

Episode one, my mind is a bit foggy, but I believe you get the AR3 by leaping out of the car early and you land on a pile of AR3's and you can get one that way.

But this game man, I couldn't find it for anything! Does anyone know where it is?

@Jacob: That's the thing, I would have, but I need the laser sight from the AR3 to fire the missile pod with pristine accuracy. I am sure you can understand the reasoning behind this. The room is just so very dark what with the rising sunlight and all.

@Neveos: Please tell me that was some kind of joke! I didn't save at that part!

@MADDOG: I am not a troll. I am actually more or less a hybrid of fish parts and robot monkey.

It's in the White Forest Base. You have to type the code from lost into Uriah's computer. Uriah then explodes in a puff of confetti and a secret room open's up unveiling the AR3.

really guys? you don't have to wait that long, you just have to go throughout the game without picking up a single weapon, then when you first get to fight a hunter, wrestle it to the ground with your bear hands
be sure to kill 10-20 of em

I know it was quite obvious! LOL At least it's something new. Must be from an alternate earth. It's the robot monkey part that scares me though!

Try pausing the game and pressing:
up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, and Start.

In two seconds. You will then pick up wepon.
