WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT THE HATS!

This game is about 9 classes on one team versus another 9 classes on another team in various game types. This is also a First Person Shooter. You as a player shoot and kill players on the other team. Thats all that matters. Instead of whining about why you didn't get or don't have a hat you should all worry about why, after two years of playing TF2, still can't properly figure out when someone is a spy.

I can see tons of threads about weapon drops because they're weapons and effect(or is affect? w/e) gameplay but hats!? If they're worried about hats so much they should be playing bratz super fun dress up simulator and not TF2. This is almost as ridiculous as the time I came here and saw someone who claimed the GIGN in cs actually takes more dmg because of his face shield.

Let me remind everyone that the TF2 Steam forum population is absolutely by no means representative of the TF2 community in general. Only a very small percentage have this "must-have-hats-or-i'll-die" mentality... Huge majority are just playing the game (not whining on the forums), having fun, and enjoying TF2.

I've never seen the power of "vocal minority" as much as I've seen it in this forum. Think about it, though, the ones who have such a ludicrous sense of entitlement (to believe that they have to have and deserve every single hat) are unsurprisingly going to be the same type of person who will whine and whine on forums as if everyone actually cares to hear them. Furthermore, because they feel so entitled, of course they will NOT use someone ELSE's thread to whine -- they will create their OWN thread... because it's all about "MINE MINE MINE ME ME ME!!!".

Sometimes I wonder if some of these people walk down the street, see some hot girl with her boyfriend, and then start moaning and whining that they can't have her and that life is unfair and that the "system" is [pink heart][pink heart][pink heart][pink heart].

I enjoyed not having hats forever (I still don't except for the halloween ones) I don't get why people are jarateed off though.. you don't see the hat you're wearing so I could care less if i'm wearing one or not..
