Gordon's crowbar as a melee weapon...

...for people who preorder next hl2 episode. Or his glasses. Or a badge with a 'lambda'(or how is it said). Much more people will fall for that(including me I guess)

I'd support Gordon's Crowbar being the Engie's melee unlockable.

No way. It would be WAY too over powered. Even more than the crit saw or the krit-kuri.

I'd rather it hit as fast as it did in HL1. Would make spies obsolete in one update.

ok but then us snipers should get the crossbow!
*fires bolt and misses spy, then gets moaned at on the Steam forums about how the sniper is no benefit whatsoever to the team, and how the crossbow is nerfed.*

they could also give you gman's briefcase as a model replacement for the spy knife. It basically has the same properties, backstab is a lethal briefcase hit on the back

haa, dont even think about it. hl doesnt need to be advertised. Good game is good game, ppl will buy it. Crab game is crab, so you have to ask the marketing:
-OMIGOD, what should we do? Our rereleased junk is not selling...waht should wee dooo?
-Advertise?
-...YES, lets make some dollars...lets lure the idiots to buy it.
-How?
-Which is the most popular game nowday with huge community?
-*checks* Its TF2, sir.
-AAAAh the hat whiners...then give them 40 pixels for 40 euros.
-YESSIR, done.
...*checking sales*...

Glasses and a beard.

Valve needs to support the real fans who have been with them since 1998.
