Lightbulb Making Ep2 Run faster?

Hey, I'm wondering, I have a fast running computer and i had bought Episode 2 a couple of days ago. It works fine but when it gets to the Portal Storm part it lags a bit. Any way to make it run "laglessly"?

What did you do to fix it, for those of us who are just plain curious?

Nice PC. Why didn't my old one do that with just one kick. I had to kick it twice, punch it once in the CD-Rom and shout at it, calling it pice of , nooby-poop and -pie
