Question Group SteamID - is it safe to be public?

Greetings, I created a left for dead 2 group of players using Steam Community Group making and I want to give freedom of bounding any member's dedicated server to the group ID by sv_steamgroup command. To save work, I wanted to post the ID group on the group page, but I do not know if that is safe.

Is that ok to allow members or the public to know your group ID?

Yup, it's safe. Only thing that people can do with it is to assign severs to your group.
