Disconnected from Steam

I keep getting disconnected from steam error after every game, the round ends fine and stats are fine but usually when it goes back to lobby instead it errors.

It used to do it a lot when I first started and only seemed to happen when I unlocked something, now it seems to be all the time after a game. I am not actually disconnected from steam just the lobby it seems.

NAT is open and COD and Steam ports are open but it still does it.

Is it just crap or am I missing some port forward thats not in the sticky?

Have you tried verifying the integrity of the game?

1. RightClick on MW2 on the steam games tab
2. Click properties
3. Click Local Files
4. Verify integrity

If your under WIN7/Vista try disabling UAC
1. Control Panel
2. Users Accounts
3. Change User Account Control Settings

Have you got an anti virus running? Disable your Resident Shield.

Im verifying integrity now but I doubt its that as surely it would fail to connect at all.

I have no UAC, firewall, or AV; im not paranoid enough to buy into it.

I will let you know what happens after integrity check is complete.

Verified fine and worked the first time, will keep trying.

Nope still does it first time seems to have been a one game fluke.
