need router help

for christmas im gettin a ipod touch and a router so i can have wireless throughout the house. im wondering if the Belkin N150 Enhanced will work with the ipod touch, but i need it to both use lan for the desktop and wifi for the ipod touch at the same time. anyone know if that will work with this router?

I don't see why not.
Personally, I use NetGear switches and two Airport Expresses in a WDS.

Wireless router is a wireless router. As long as the encryption methods used are supported on your device it will work. Otherwise reduce the wireless security.
But i never heard of a device not being compatible with a particular access point
