TF2 Crafting Game

Alright. The other day when I was getting a little frustrated that I have about an entire backpack full of items I can't craft, I came up with an idea to write a script that would determine about how long I'd have to play TF2 to get the hat I want (the fedora).

Now, it's a full fledged game! If you have nothing better to do, or just need something to keep your FPS finger busy while you're idling, check this out.

All of the probabilities for hat drops and item drops are exactly the same as they are in TF2.

There IS one major difference in my game from TF2 (at the moment): you can craft the spy watches to create scrap metal. I only added this because I expect valve to add it in the game very soon (it's really only a glitch that they can't be crafted into scrap metal).

I can already hear some of you naysayers out there ("BUT WHAT'S THE POINT").

There is none, really!

You can use it to determine about how long it'll take you to get the hat you want, or just to screw around and pwn those noobs. It's up to you.

Turns out, it took me on average (3 games) 510 hours to get my Fedora. Pretty gross!

Anyway, have fun.
-Sean

PS: If the normal speed (1 second=25 in-game minutes) is too slow for you, try these:

*Intermediate (1 second=50 in-game minutes)
*Hard (1 second~83 in-game minutes)

PLEASE READ: (edit)
For those of you that keep complaining about getting much more hats in my game than in actual TF2, keep in mind that my game reflects the 9/01 hat probability increase (from ~1% to ~3%). Just because you've been playing 9001 hours in game doesn't mean all 9001 of those hours had a 3% chance, please keep this in mind.

CAMERA BEARDS ARE NO LONGER HATS!
Which also means you cannot craft a camera beard using a hat recipe. When posting your number of hats, be sure to include whether or not you're counting camera beards.

GUIDE!

It works exactly the way TF2 crafting works. Basically, it's a fast-forwarded version of what goes on in TF2.

Instead of having to wait 25 minutes for an item drop chance, you wait 1 second.

It doesn't actually give you the items in game or anything, it's just a little project to kind of see what you need to do to get whatever hat you want, and to see how long it'll take in the actual game.

You're missing a few blueprints here pal. Crafting scrap metal using three primary, secondary, or melee weapons is not working.

Check here to make sure you have them all.

Edit: Oh, and your watch blueprints are wrong. Watches can't be used to craft anything but a PDA2 token, and that can be used to craft either more watches, or a different slot token.

Really? It all works for me. The only thing I haven't programmed in is crafting weapons, I figured it was a little worthless to add those in.

Are you sure you're playing right? Click an item to highlight it, highlight JUST the items you want to craft, and hit the craft button. It seems to work for everyone else.

The game ends when the backpack is full.

Thanks for reminding me, I'll put instructions on the game page.

I'm absolutely sure that when I try to craft three primary weapons from different classes, it doesn't allow it. Same with three secondary, and three melee all from different classes.

Another thing I forgot to mention. The ambassador is considered to be a secondary weapon by TF2. I think (ALTHOUGH I MAY BE WRONG) that the sticky launcher and it's replacements are classified as Primary.
