Patch 1 available but not on Steam

Just wondered when this patch is likely to be available

East India Company: Designer's Cut Patch 1:

This patch can be installed on top of any previous version of East India Company. Please exit the game before
applying the patch.

Patch notes:

- problem with combining fleets fixed
- problem with surrendered or destroyed ships still showing on strategic map fixed
- island levels optimized
- experience from trading is now gained
- bought ships are now shown in the Financial report
- continent-icon now changes according to the selected port in Port View
- Battle of Trafalgar can now be launched from EIC
- port positions fixed in Port View Map
- ports can now be selected from the Port View Map
- value of the ship being sold now shown when selling in the Port View
- imported tons now shown in Diplomacy

I would also like to know. Just got the game during the sale (though have been eyeing it for a while) and my game keeps crashing after I combine my fleets. SO the patch would be nice :P

Ive been waiting over a month for this also. Every time i pass or try pass a certain year it crashes on me. Sigh...

It probably won't. They don't upkeep this game, or a number of others, very much. The staff probably hasn't looked at the forums for months.
I'm just sayin.. if there was a good reason for not updating it they should at least tell us.
Of course that might push people away from buying it.
And as such I refuse to buy it from steam.
Going to get it retail.

Blame steam, the developers usually send their stuff to steam, but what ends up happening is that steam either "loses the email" or forgets all about the game or doesn't bother updating it because htey dont care.

Strange that it only ever seems to happen to paradox. Seems all the other Publishers can upload their own content updates and set prices/sales from a web based GUI.
