I think a good idea would be to have little icons on a game's Store page that tell you which friend(s) own that particular title.
It would be great to know that, it might help me to decide between two multiplayer games I want to buy, for example... What do you think. |

Yeah that'd be cool, and also up date gifting system if i by doubbel games i can gif them to my frendts/femely i mean com one i py for it a littel gamers suport on this steam must be a frendtly gamers program and not som monny making thing

Like "owned by 2 friends" clickable and "wishlisted by 4 friends" clickable, that would bring up more information about it.

Yeh, integrating the Store and the Community together with these kinds of features would be excellent. There's no better endorsement for a game than it being owned by your friends, it'd be a great way of driving purchases.
It's actually kind of odd that they're so separated at the moment. The only reason I can think of is that the Community is really reliant on the core Steam systems, so if they have downtime on those, the Community can go down without impacting the money-making Store and billing side of things. Possibly. |
