Awaiting Connection... 1...

Greets to all

I am having bad connectivity issues....

No matter what I do, when I connect I get stuck at "Awaiting Connection... 1..." The number 2 never even comes up...

* I am using Win 7 x64. All other games (even MW2) run fine as they can
* My router is set t DMZ
* I do not have any hardware or software firewalls

Any thoughts ? Thanks in advance

Update: I did a verify on my local install... It found that 1 file (dunno which one) needed to be reacquired. I suppose I will try again

Update 2: Still no go... Err.. THis kinda sucks

Actually... my problem has come again

I did not do anything special to help or re-create the problem.... This is obviously a COD WAW issue that needs to be fixed

Rite reinstall didn't work. But this does: Refresh server list then exit the game(to desktop). Wait a minute or two and then restart the game and look at the server list again but DO NOT REFRESH,just click on a server and join. It worked for me anyway.

You can't join a game right away on a cold reboot. You have to wait until the punkbuster services get initialized. Pull down the console with shift-tilde and wait until you see a line with your IP address. Then you can use the server browser and join games. It's very annoying.

You would think with all the patches that would be their biggest priority.

This is what I hate about Activision and their games, they always have issues with PC, I don't know if it's because they are too lazy to program the game perfectly for PC, or is it because they just want to make the PC gamers' life miserable. COD MW2 is the one that plays almost without flaws and that's thanks to steam works.
