When I uninstall it will that affect my game somehow considering I retired my Airbender it would disappear? Thus the item I passed down from it could disappear too.
The retired Airbender will be deleted, but the heirloom will still be there provided it also wasn't part of the Airbender mod.

Having been modding my TL for a while, here's a few I've picked up and consider to be pretty useful, without being game-breaking.

Gold Sharing Service, by KelinTor - Creates a portal just to the left of the Shared Stash that takes you to a small map where you can convert 5k or 10k of gold into an item to put into your Shared Stash, and then convert back in the same map on other characters.

Recipes Deluxe, by TormakSaber - Allows you to transmute spell scrolls into higher levels (Heal II + Heal II = Heal III, Summon Skeletons VI + Summon Archers VI = Summon Blood Skeleton), as well as extending Torchlight's already existing Necklace/Ring recycling to Weapons and Armour (Rare Pistol + Rare Pistol + Rare Pistol = Rare Pistol).

Arithmancy, Thaumaturgy, and Geomancy, by Fayd:

Arithmancy extends TL's gem upgrading so that instead of having to rely on combinations of two or four gems of the same quality, you can combine multiple qualities, without changing the actual requirements needed to achieve said qualities (e.g. Cracked Deep-Ember + Cracked Deep-Ember + Dull Deep-Ember + Discoloured Deep-Ember = Deep-Ember).

Thaumaturgy converts four gems of the same quality but different types to one of the next quality and a fifth type. It's useful since it means you can convert the endless supply of useless Cracked gems into ones you actually need for transmutation upgrades.

Geomancy fixes a bug in the transmutation system that only affects mods that add new gem recipes, allowing you to perform transmutations without all the necessary ingredients.

Additional Gem Availability, by Miniver - Enables the dropping/selling of higher quality gems than just Cracked or Dull. The droprates are very well balanced (you still won't get above Dull very often at all), and function based on level restrictions as well (like spell scrolls, the higher your level, the better the quality that can drop), so it's a pretty fair addition to gameplay.

Personally, I have a Mimic pet. I haven't really tried out the others, but at level 100, my pet hits harder than I do, except for criticals (26k, I <3 you Epic Stark Fist of Removal!), and has a crapton of HP, so it isn't constantly running away. With Blood Skeletons as a Summon Spell for it too, it gets HP back from that, so I don't have to take care of it much at all.

^ Haven't tried any of the custom classes yet, but I've heard good things about the Airbender and Shaman.

By the way, the retail version of Torchlight came out recently, featuring an "exclusive" third pet choice: a ferret. This mod makes the Ferret available for the Steam version as well.

Total respec mod totally messed up my character. He was a level 52 destroyer and i used the ultimate attribute potion and now when i reassigned the points it acted like the stat was at 0 so now i have a character that can use any of his potions weapons or armor.

^ I would tell Didero about it, as that sounds like a serious bug.

Don't know what else to tell you (other than to always have a backup save of your characters). The mod always worked perfectly for me.

Patch 1.15 is here!

Among other things, the Sushi Helm recipe is fixed, so anyone using a mod that fixes the recipe is advised to delete it. (Same goes for mods that fixed any other things before this patch, of course. I'm not aware of any other bugfix mods at the moment, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to get the word out...)

TorchLeech 1.5 is out, now with a nicer interface and a savegame editor (to use the latter, you'll need to download a separate mod called SVTInfo, which can be done in Torchleech as well).

Also added elyscape's Bigger Potions mod to the Big List™.

Thanks for this compilation. Torchlight vanilla was becoming a little boring. These should breath new life into it again.

So I just bought Torchlight with the weekend deal. Downloading now.

Do you think it's a good idea to play vanilla Torchlight first, or would it just be more fun to play with some of the recommended mods here?
