Crash on Startup "GLW: no valid pixel format"

I just bought Space Trader and can't seem the game to start up. Before I even get into the game the Space Trader Console pops up and displays this,

Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I'm using Windows 7 x64, my gfx drivers are up to date as well as my sound drivers.

exactly the same problem hee...my brothers geforce 4 mx works with it but my computer is better...ive updated the gfx and sound

Nobody even has an idea on how to fix this?

Try running Steam as Admin. I use Win 7 64bit no issues. GTX 295 i7 975.

Thank you so much! It seems that your solution fixed the problem.
All I had to do is run steam as admin(even though I was on an admin account in windows 7(x64).

I get this error as well, even when I run as Admin and I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate x64
