Are you sure this game is using old GFWL (NON-SSA)?

They said this game will use NON-SSA GFWL and game will not be tied to one gamertag and we can use all of our gamertags? But look at the screenshot, it is saying game will be tied to one gamertag and you can't change it in future like SSA GFWL games? So what is the point making the game with only 15 activations and tieing it to only one gamertag? Just make it limitless activations like Red Faction Guerrilla, Section 8 and DIRT 2 then? I hope 2K Games will change this...

Looks like 2K lied again about it being non-SSA. You HAVE to tie your CD Key to a live account it seems.

Yes, I don't care for tieing to one account but it has still 15 activations or not? This is what I wondering?

does it really tie to a single gamertag because the only time i use a gamertag is when a PC game forces me to and so far ive gone through about 10 of the things cos i forget the password and MS seems to take like 2 days to respond to a pass request and im not w8ing 2 days for that

acare84 if its true its bound to the gamertag (SSA) then we would not have activation limits. Honestly 2k elezabeth has been wrong in the past MANY MANY MANY times. Can you install the game on a second machine and login into GFWL if it lets you in without asking for a key its true SSA. Which has no activation limits. If so did you buy it via steam or retail?I am assumning steam since you posted here but just wanted to be sure.

If its SSA I will buy right away.

According to 2K the game is non-ssa, but you still have to use a specefic GfWL account.

This is how GfWL works, M$ haven't changed anything since it "works". I guess they stick a bit too much with the phrase "If it isn't broke, don't fix it"

Fallout 3 worked just fine with GfWL without triggering the activation count, and that is why nothing have changed.

SSA games are asking for reenter the key on different computers too like NON SSA games. I have Red Faction Guerrilla and DIRT 2 and tried it with them (these are SSA games). Anyway I asked 2K Elizabeth this via PM, I hope she will answer me. I bought it from Steam BTW.

Also I opened a thread about this on 2K Forums too still no answer.

As far as I understand, SSA games are tied to a Gamertag when you are *connected* to LIVE. Thus, you can play with it with multiple Gamertags, but not at the same time. Each time you switch to another Gamertag, you have to reconfirm the key, and the other Gamertag will be disconnected from LIVE.

Not quite. The way SSA works, only one profile can connect per key. If you want to get another profile online, you have to buy another key. The other profiles can still play, but they are in offline mode. There is no way to remove a key from a profile.

You only have to reenter the key when you reinstall your computer. SSA games will still ask for the key, but there is no activation limit.
