Hey i Just got a new windows xp computer and wanted to put steam on it. So i went to the website and downloaded it to the desktop. When it installed it was SteamInstall.msi. When i click it to install it says " windows cannot open this file. File: SteamInstall.msi To open this file, windows needs to know what program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically or you can manually select from a list of programs on your computer. and when i look online it doesnt have anything... What should i do?

Grab this file, unzip it, and double click on it, click OK, reboot, then try.
