Getting a new comp

sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but i couldnt think of anywhere else

but anyways, im thinking about getting a new computer, and the one im currently using, is not that great for gaming.
so this time around i want to get a more gaming centered computer, i found this one. and just wanted to know before i shelled out the 800 bucks, if it was a good comp, or a pile of garbage. and if it happens to be the latter, I would appreciate some suggestions.
(although i really want to try, to keep it under 1000)

Thanks!

I would say a little on the garbage side because it has that geforce 9800.

edit:You probably want a prebuilt one that maybe would require only adding a graphics card?

Double edit: never trust a computer that says gaming on it they just say that to increase price or sell you something thats not the best.

For the most part people here will suggest you build you own machine rather than going with a pre-built one (more bang for the buck and half the fun is building it yourself). Check the monthly budget builds thread here

I refer you to this http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Confi...s.aspx?mid=550

But here are my suggestions

switch the processor to AMD Phenom™ II X4 965 Black Edition Quad-Core CPU

The video card to either the 5770 or the 5850

switch the motherboard to the ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO

switch the power supply to the 700w one(same price as the 550w)

and switch the hard drive to a 1tb one

Bottem line 1002 with a 5850 and 880 with a 5770
