How to beat evil baddie on level 4?

I've just ran up to a roof and this evil looking bad guy throws me off a roof, then comes through a fence and throws me off a building, i dont actually have a chance to do anything because as he busts through the fence i'm stuck on the floor in cutscene mode?

You have to counter his attack when his weapon gets red, I believe it's a pipe. If you have reflex mode avaliable use that to help.

If you turned Runner vision off, I don't think it turns red, even if you selected "Only enemies".

No it should still be red even with runner vision turned off.

slow motion. all i can say. never made it without it and even then i had to be lucky to hit the right moment...

Just start slow motion then keep hitting the "take a gun button".

P.S: I do own it for online but I haven't played it in forever.
