Outstanding game!

I just finished SG today, I buyed last week sale. SGS still waiting. I love it! The story isn't meet big games like Mass Effect, but it's fun and someway original. Yeah, maybe the first sci-fi/game which set on Ganymede and the hero is smple mechanic. Of course the alien invasion and dark places very familiar.

But it's a necessary cliche. Alines with different size and ablities, reminds me form bug to dinosaurs.
The graphics are nice, even for a 4 years old game and colourful not to dark. The flashlight effect very cool, I found more impressive when you lighting a dark room than HL or Doom 3's flashlights. The music rocks! Ari Pulkkinen sure know how make a good score for an action based sci-fi game. Energmatic suspense for action moments, and dramatic tunes for cinematic moements. Some tunes reminds me the movie Equilibrium music. And the weapon arsenal and the upgrades... Cool stuff, but to many weapons I don't have a chance to try it all - I'm always spare the big guns for the end.

So it's a vey good game for an Indie developer. I highly recommend anyone who like Indie games, sci-fi games or 'old school' style games. The game reminds me a Space Siege-Doom 3 mix.

I agree. I picked it up during the sale because it was cheap, but didn't bother to play it until now. Now I can't put it down.
