Can't Add Favorites and Ping Issues

Hello all,

For my server list (whether after a refresh or not), only 30 or so servers will have a ping. The rest are just "-". Any way to fix it?

I've tried running steam as the administrator, but that option is grayed out and I can't select it. Maybe that means I'm already running as administrator? (I'm using Vista 64 bit).

Also, I can't add a server to favorites. When I try to do so, it just says collecting data or something similiar for minutes on end without adding the server.

Thoughts?

I am having the same problem as you and all the ones I have read of so far are because the users are running on 64 bit win 7. I have given up trying to fix it for now and will just wait for a fix.

BTW You can also right click ---> properties ---> compatibility ----> run as administrator.

When I go there, the option to run as administrator is greyed out.

Not a good workaround, running the game as admin brakes Ventrillo unless vent is also run as admin which brakes logitech mouse button bindings, which will have to be run as admin, etc, etc, etc.

I manage to get pings around 15% of the time and managed to get 5 servers added to favorites, tho it is hard lol. I've yet to figure out how to fix this

Me too i have problem with ping on Xp . I see ping but for 30 servers only .
its not the same problem that run as administrator because i'm on Xp and i czn see some pings
