Awful multiplayer
Iīm not going to pay 50€ for a game that crashes every single time on multiplayer, try to play 4vs4 itīs impossible, 3vs3 mostly of times y need to restart the game because it never starts.
Wake up R.U.S.E developers!, donīt count on my money. |

I've had this issue a couple times and it seems to be a connection problem with various users and one another. For example I tried twice yesterday to play a 2v2 with the same player set and froze both times but the third time one of the players was different and the game went off without a hitch. Like stated, it's beta, it's what beta's for, that ♥♥♥♥ will be worked out in time (still 3 months before game launches).

And it seems the majority of people are having no problems. Maybe if you spent less time complaining, and more time posting your precise issues and tech specs, they will have the information they need to fix your specific problem before it launches. |

Lets go over some basic terms BETA "Beta" is a nickname for software which has passed the alpha testing stage of development and has been released to users for software testing before its official release. It is the prototype of the software that is released to the public. Beta testing allows the software to undergo usability testing with users who provide feedback, so that any malfunctions these users find in the software can be reported to the developers and fixed. Beta software can be unstable and could cause crashes or data loss. A "beta version" is the first version released outside the organization or community that develops the software, for the purpose of evaluation or real-world black/grey-box testing. The process of delivering a beta version to the users is called beta release. Beta level software generally includes all features, but may also include known issues and bugs of a less serious variety. Let me epmhasize something for you - "Beta testing allows the software to undergo usability testing with users who provide feedback, so that any malfunctions these users find in the software can be reported to the developers and fixed. Beta software can be unstable and could cause crashes or data loss" The whole point in BETA testing is to find the errors so they can fix before release. If you dont want to deal with the bugs then why are you in the BETA? Last edited by nick2730: 03-11-2010 at 11:05 AM. |

Indeed, Nick's right on the money. I mean this isn't even a demo. For a beta this has be marvelously stable imo; I've not experienced any of the issues that some are reporting. The whole thing has been smooth as silk on my machine.

OK, it's Beta from quotation from above...
- Where to report bugs? On web page that informs you there is no beta? Game (beta) have some issue with starting MP. It would be wise to fix the issue ASAP. Game don't start - people don't feedback experience with the gameplay. Not to mention latter time wasted on assurance you've fixed problem(s), ranting on forums etc.

they're showing you some of what they've already done. They're not soon-to-be-built car-salesmen. They're simply giving you a sample of their product before it's out on the market. This isn't /b/. Try not to give us the same level of rhetoric as is used there. Last edited by Cowtipper: 03-12-2010 at 02:17 AM. |

Yeh it's totally beta dude, but I have the same issue, and usually at the beginning where it pans in and zooms down to your building, sometimes that animation or w/e freezes and then I have to ctrl+alt+del it all...

I thought about some kind of automatic report tool for crashes, report tool for bugs and "survey type" suggestions/wishes list. Why should I waste my time on taking dumps or describing conditions when crash had occurred or making 2 page long suggestions if they don't want to implement them? |
