Demo Removed After Installing Game

Has anyone been able to keep the demo after installing the full

version of the game? Well My copy of the demo was removed after I

installed the full game. Now what if I wanted to keep it?

Who said they could remove it from my computer? If it's in the Agreement then I understand how they can, but that's not my issue. Why would they remove it??

Yes, I believe it was removed right after the full version was released. Not sure why. Maybe it was causing more bad publicity than good?

uhhh is this REALLY an issue for you? =/ would you rather play the demo than the full game? sigh, Rebellion have the right to have their property removed, and they also have the right to take their game back off you if they wanted, read the terms of use agreement/disclaimer, stop looking a gift horse in the mouth plz

You don't get it buddy, They removed it for a reason, so my question is why? there are other demos from older games still up in steam. And It's none of you effing business why I want it. Maybe I want to play it with friends that don't own the full version.
I think the demo wasn't old code at all.

yer demo had bugs, that fixed in main game. seems silly to leave the demo up. Demo was more of a beta.

Yep life goes on and lemmings like yourself will continue to jump over the cliff of ignorance into the obis. They removed it because they didn't want people to realize that the demo was actually new code. And we all fell for it, HA...HA.... Think about it, I just checked the steam website and the demo is gone. So now there is no way to compare the two unless someone made videos of the demo. I bet that's it. They release a demo and tell people it's old code so that people really wont question the problems. Then when it comes out they tell us that "some how it slipped by". They had that expo where they were letting people play the game back in... what was it, in January? They had the time to use new code for the demo. Hell, the DEMO was the new code.
They also address some of the problems they knew about in the readme file in the full version of the game. That's why they used a dark map like Refinery so you couldn't see much of the details in the graphics and that would explain the nerfed GUI in the demo too. That's why they canned the guys at one of the studios, because they are the ones that screwed the game up. And now they are all ~HUSH HUSH~ with no answers or hardly any Answers to Questions because they just want this to blow over so they can sell as much as possible. .... I bet I hit the nail right on the head......WOW!

Demo wasn't new code. Just was no where near as old as they would have liked us to believe. I think the only differences were the changes in the Day 0 patch.

I think they treated it more as a multiplayer beta to gauge community response, rather than a demo. Think about it. If they kept the demo up, 99% of the people trying it would end up not getting into any games due to the fact that the playerbase are all playing the full game, and they'd say "this matchmaking sucks" (well, it does really) and not buy it.

nice call on the lemming...a clear indication of your maturity level however, back to the subject at hand which i'm stupidly debating with a kid...

If you want to fill your time with analysing something you can never change by disecting a demo or comparing over and over again the difference between old code and new code then crack on. And if you wanna play a demo with your friends, again, crack on. But i would LOVE to see what progress whatever your campaign is, so please keep me posted k thx
