BFBC2 Bad Product Key

I bought the game a few days ago, started it up, copied the product key (not the promo key) and learned it wouldnt let me copy and paste when asked for the serial key.

So I entered it manually and I keep getting an invalid code error. The serial key given to me does NOT contain any dashes either like it is apparently supposed to.

So now I have a game and cannot play it online or login to my EA account. Lame...

Any suggestions on how to get this resolved quickly?

Put dashes between, then it works.

In between each 4, not 5.

I know someone who had the same issue, the reason for him was the email for his Steam account was different then his EA account and they link the cd key with your Steam email.

So contact EA support or I guess make an EA account with the same email as your Steam account (if it isn't already).

I don't think my cd key had dashes, but my promo key had dashes.
