Moving Turrets
Will turrets be able to move? I see legs.
http://gavade.deviantart.com/art/ROMy-156680258 Photo taken from another thread, the wallpaper thread. Legs look like a form of the hunter's from HL2:Ep2 Edit: I didn't read the description, I didn't know that this was completely fanmade :| No hint to moving turrets

Moving turrets would be awesome. It would add to the challenge of portal. They could keep stationary turrets too.

It'd be easy to just stick a turret on a moving platform.
I'm sure there's fanmade levels that have that. |

Surprisingly, no. The platforms can't move fast or else the portal will tip over, or they would have to be invincible turrets. It could be achieved through some clever use of triggers.

Then with input/outputs, and perhaps some nodraw physboxes around the turret, you could make it so it's parent is cleared if it's touched. |
