Will hub reveal any "new" information?

Now, GameInformer's portal 2 hub has five more reveals left, but so far has only talked about the behind-the-scenes things of portal 2, not revealing any new game mechanics or levels or characters.

Question is, those of us who looked at the leaked GameInformer portal article, will we be seeing anything new at the end of this month, or do you think it's just going to Reiterate what we already know from the leaked info? The paints, co-op, and such?

I'm hoping for a genuine trailer at the 31st, but otherwise, at the pace they're moving, I don't think they'll be revealing anything most of us don't already know.

I don't think we'll get anything new, maybe some new low-res screenshots...

They're in the business of selling magazines, so the important information is probably all in the magazine. The hub is sort of the special features section of a DVD.

Maybe the last day will post the actual article since it'll be close to the next issue anyways.

How much more do people really need to know about Portal 2? It's a longer game now with more puzzle elements, but it's still a pretty straight forward game. The reason the first game's story was so popular was because no one knew it even had a story until the game was in their hands.

Knowing Valve they'll have a few more information dumps scheduled out for the major public events through out the year.

I read the magazine.
All it reveals is a bit of the sort of backstory they're currently going over at the P2hub.
In addition to the basics of the story's beginning.
And some of the new gameplay mechanics (I have no doubt there's other ones that'll surprise us).
Definitely the sort of things that look like they'll be expanded upon in some direction in the P2hub.

GI will be doing a podcast soon where Valve will be answering community questions about the game. So get over there and ask! (GI registration required).

While would GI put stuff on their free site instead of in their magazine?

Well the magazine reveals a ton of info. New game mechanics some puzzle info, a little story tidbit here and there. Overall I think most info is in the mag.

Also the mag promised that they'll reveal more about Chell and her new design.

Yeah, I don't know what everyone is complaining about. The magazine revealed a ton of info, and while the Hub articles haven't revealed something brand new every time, they have expanded on a lot of what we already knew, like more details about the game mechanics, the fact that JoCo will be writing multiple songs that appear throughout the game in interesting ways, etc. Don't get greedy.

Don't think we will get anything new. If there was anything new, it would have leaked by now. This is just a way to expand on the article. Except for the last update which I found kinda boring compared to the others, I've enjoyed the behind the scenes stuff. GlaDOS said E3 I can wait!
