RFG PC crashing

well my pc is

* OS: Windows XP

* CPU: 2.70 GHzIntel Pentium Dual-Core E5400

* Memory: 3 GB RAM // 500GB with 330GB used

* Video Card: ZOTAC GeForce 8800GTS 1GB

BUT NOW crashes after 1 mission and only when i switch weapons why is this and what can i do to prevent this ?

and yes my motherboard grapghics card ect drivers are all upto date

Did you install any mods? If so that might be the problem.

Or if you had mods installed and updated the game sometimes causes that stuff.

Make a backup of your savegames and try re-installing the game.

no mods and not even updated yet deleted and reinstalled and still same problem

This game is absolute garbage ware on most PCs. It only seems to run smoothly when the settings/resolution match the xbox 360's settings from what I've seen and read. Resolution seems to be the biggest factor, and I'm sorry I don't know what resolution that is.

The game also has horrid memory leakage, and will suck down 100% usage on processors that are generations above and beyond even the reccomended system specs.

I gave up on this game weeks ago and just consider the $40 a lesson learned. "No demo, no purchase consideration."
