Cant see ♥♥♥♥, if this is the demo level, could you post some screenshots when the sun starts coming up, only 10 or so minutes into game play once you get to the beach.
I had my resolution too high and could not make out a thing, have you lowered your settings? |

If I stand up to look at my monitor I see a few white dots. If I sit down I don't see anything.
Maybe my problem but am not going to adjust my monitor brightness when I am happy with what I have got. ![]() So to answer your question, then NO it does not. Look I see the white dots but if I look at the first pic the detail looks blurry but difficult to determine if seen in the dark. Need some sunshine ![]() Perhaps if you could post your PC specs as well. Last edited by stealth123734: 03-26-2010 at 02:17 PM. |

WOW. I see well over 20 clear white dots on that dark rock. When the sun comes out it would make them harder to see. Since its dark in the second shot its easier to see them.
Are you sure your not confusing them with dust lol? |

found out though that a lot of other people with ATI cards get these artifacts in dx10 as well. is your videocard or RAM overclocked?

Nope at stock speeds with a good temperature.
They dont happen in DX9 nor do they appear when you are very close to the object, You have to be about 3 meters away from the object. They are static and do not move when you are not moving. i think its something to do with shadows it only happens on shadowed surfaces. As you can tell from the shots, Last edited by andy1992: 03-26-2010 at 03:23 PM. |

OP, I hope this is not affecting your decision to purchase the game.
Crysis is a brilliant game, very CPU and graphics intensive but a great experience all round. With your system your should run it ok. Your have the demo, perhaps the developers have spent less time patching the demo than the whole game itself. I probably read the same pages as you, but we talking about July 2009 and this was the whole game and not the demo. Please do yourself a favour and get the game, a few white dot artifacts should not let you not buy it. My guess is you wont have the problem with the full game with updated drivers. |

Source- http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/arch.../t-139608.html Poster : nycxtile "I just use the extremequality 1.34 config and under shadows r_TerrainAO_FadeDist= I make it =3. 2.5 worked but as I zoomed in with the aiming, there were some white dots...but using 3 fixed that." Good luck, am off to play some MW2
