Half-Life 2: Portal

Having read about Portal 2, I am very excited for the game. So excited that the wait until it is released is much too long.

To curb the enthusiasm a little, I tried this game alteration to pass the time. Unfortunately, it isn't working for me.

When I enter "impulse 101" all the weapons are spawned except the Portal Gun.

What am I doing wrong?

You need to enter another cheat to get the fully upgraded portal gun. "Depending on how far you got in Portal, you may need to upgrade the portal gun to fire both portals. Enter “upgrade_portalgun” to do so" You need to get the actual portal gun first.

Oh, I'm starting a new game every time I try. Should I work off of one of my saved games?

Are you in portal? Because I believe that's a half life map imported INTO it, not the other way around.
