There's a lot of whiny nerds out on steam forums right now, me included. Excluding the nerd part though ;I

I don't want to wait, waiting is for losers, whining is for real men.

My thoughts exactly :-P. If I wait too much longer I'm gonna gonna have to buy a longsword and go kill looters without the help of taleworlds.

It's funny that Steam didnt take their time to take our money. Although they take their time to give us update, thats bad when you think if we bought the game elsewhere then we could have been playing since yesterday. just a thought

edit - ok as i was typing that message they released the update. my bad

it's not nerdy to demand something you paid for, or even pre-paid for.
companies that have pre-pay, are making profit off that money before you get anything.
they have MANY people preordering in full, there's no advantage to this
other than giving the already large company more money to invest.

software industry has such a record of treating it's customers like garbage.
this is common practice and it's sad. no other legal industry has such
an upper hand over their customers.

^ this. I swear some companies are depending on the copyright laws preventing returns of crappy software with terrible support in order to kick out cheaper buggier products and still make money.

Edit: I'm not specifically meaning taleworlds with Warband in this case. If they were charging 60 dollars for it I sure would be though.
