It was on sale for $20 a couple days ago, I think you can still get it for $30.

Couldn't have been on sale a couple days ago, cause I've been here everyday viewing sales since l4d2 50% sale went on.

Whats PAX code? Where could I get it for cheaper? I'd rather just pay the extra $20 for a legit copy then messing around with ebay or something.

I'm not going to go back digging through Kotaku to find it but there is an article from last weekend that has a PAX code that work with the EA store that knocks $20 off a $40+ purchase.

Ah, I see!

EA Store is offering a $20 off $40 coupon. Apply PAXEAST842 at checkout to save. Shipping is free. Thank you juliocho

Note, the code stacks with $10 off promo, so games like Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PC Digital Download), become 49.95 - $10 - $20 = $19.95 with free shipping.

Hahaha, thats funny I started a thread joking about the game being on sale and it actually is!!

I'm debating though.. can I still use the digital copy I buy from ea games, and install it on my steam client with my other shooter games.

I know on the F.A.Q it says "No, only games on this list may be activated on Steam for use." but I'd like to make sure.

It's just cool how you can always have this steam account to download old games you might lose.

No, BC2 is not a Steam activated game when purchased outside of Steam.

I desided it doesn't matter. I have battlefield 1 on my desk, sitting in it's case and I'll probably never play it again. I buy games, play them out, never play them again, except WoW =P

Save $20 bucks on EA games, sure. It says you can redownload the game from them anyway and all games can be added to steam client as a shortcut.

Keep in mind that code works for unreleased titles as well. I am getting the new MoH game for $30.
