Problems with the Taleworlds forums?

Has anyone else problems with the Taleworld forums?

I tried to went over there a few times during the last days and quite often i get following message:

Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.
----

Just wanting to be sure if it's only my computer/connection or if the problem lies on their end.

Nope, it's me as well. I can only browse the forums during the off - times, but I might not be able to at all during this weekend.

It's no doubt due in part with Warband's release. Traffic is so much higher than usual, not to mention everyone trying to download the game from their website (though downloading may be handled by another server, but still it's being bogged down due to high demand), that the server can't handle it all.

Okay, just feared it was some 'crazy routing' stuff my ISP had problems with.
Then i hope they will be able to fix it soon.

Same, I suppose it has to be looked at as a positive sign though. I know you can't really judge people logged into the website for several reasons, but they had I think around 500-700 members logged in 2 nights ago when I checked.

for me they're usually either slow or timing out. Guess this means the servers are being overwhelmed by the traffic.
