Price counts for a lot when it comes to an epic laptop.

I think I saw this one on AoTS today... For the price of a gaming lap top that is not bad. I used to have a sager gaming lap top and finally just went with a desk top though. I can admit though that they can certainly be convenient for LANs or going to a buddies house.

Thats where I saw it. As for desktop replacment, NEVER. I would rather use my desktop at home and use a laptop for traveling and or when my house is balls hot and I don't wanna be here, like right now ._.

I have a LAN party with like 3 of my friends at my house with our gaming laptops, every now and then.

Awesomeness.

Well then whats the definiiton of "epic laptop" if it can't be a desktop replacement and expensive? Sounds like every other laptop.

pretty good price for a laptop of that quality if I do say so myself, dont see carrying around an 8lb laptop though that is 16 inches wide around an airport for travel.

Laptops are for work. Desktops are for play.

Laptops are not for play, as they can't be upgraded easily.

That's my philosophy. Desktop replacements are a joke IMO.

i think the m15x is probably the most balanced high end laptop...

weight, size, power, price (relative to other gaming laptops)

Hey some of them are not that bad there is a couple of them that are just as fast as my quad core rig and I'd rather have a Dual Core instead of a Quad core since games these days are using the gpu more out of it. Like the Asus G60JX with the Core i5 4gb ddr3 and a gts 360M pretty darn good specs to me.

Desktop replacement have their uses. The fact that you don't see a use for one doesn't mean it has to be the case for everyone.
