Can I remove games from my library?

I have a few non-steam games that I added and I want to take them out of the library. How do I do that?

Should be able to right click on them to open a context menu and select remove or something similar.

Yes, right click on the shortcut in the user interface and select "Delete shortcut."

The problem is that I've tried this and no such option comes up when I right click.

Are you sure they are non-Steam shortcuts and not 3rd party mods?

You can remove all of your non-Steam shortcuts by renaming the config file "shortcuts.vdf" to "shortcuts_old.vdf". This file is located at "Steam\config\shortcuts.vdf". Then restart Steam.

I had a similar problem with a short cut I had added to steam, I would delete it and then next time I started steam up it would be back again. Thanks Maledict21 your fix for him helped me as well.
