problem at grout's mansion

I've got the wesp patch 6.9, companion mod and camarilla mod installed. does anyone else have issues at grout's mansion where you can't pick up the journal and blood creature? I can't pick up the items because there's just the stake icon.

Are the journal and the blood creature features of the companion mod? If so, you should ask the creator on Planet Vampire.
