[TBoGT] Loading Screen Freeze

My game was running normally all the way trough TLaD but when i started playing TBoGT and got to the fight club mission , Momma's Boy, im having a bug that everytime i finish the mission the game freezes on the loading screen.

It only happened on this mission so far. It happens if I take the dive on the third fight, right after the cutscene it freezes. If I do beat the 3 guys after, then the loading screen stays on until I die in the fight with Santos, then the game starts working again after they send me to the hospital and fail the mission.

I've spent 2 hours lookin around the internet for a fix but didn't find any... I've tried patching the game to version 1.1 and nothing changed, I've tried deleting my auto-save files and still nothing...

Can anyone help me?

mine is doing the same exact thing .i tryed to mod the game the other day and was unsuccesful,so i guess it isnt that.i tryed reinstalling and varifing but nouthing steams to work .if anyone knows how to fix this it would be much appricated

i called the RS Techsupport line and they said it sounds like a file was currupted when we downloaded it from steam.he said to redownload it.i already tryed reinstalling it and that did not work. is it possible to redownload it from steam or is installing it and downloading it the same thing

yea i got to a point in the story where you can't progress without that mission.... stuck until I can figure comething out...

i jus read somewhere that cheat codes where the reason, the post was on yahoo and was posted to years ago about a vlad mission, but is sounds like what our problem is. i used cheats in mine im going to restart without them and see what happens.i think it is aleast worth a shot. ill keep ya updated

Well, I've recently tried the mission with the textures set to high and the Loading Freeze ocurred after the first cutscene, when you are supossed to follow Santos. So I reset the textures to Low and Medium and the game worked until that previous problem of freezing after the fights... It must be related somehow, maybe the texture files are corrupted... I wonder if theres a way of dowloanding only this missions files somehow....

It is a bit sad, that there isn't any official answer to this issue from Rockstar, I mean they have a Steam Forum account, they could say a simple "we'll look into this" or something and everyone would feel OK...
