Darksiders now on Coming Soon - 6/24

Nice to see this will be hitting Steam. I wouldn't be surprised if THQ gives Red Faction away for free as a preorder bonus for this as well.

It's a great game. I already got it on the xbox, so I won't be getting it again on the PC. Otherwise I would have gotten it.

The game borrows a lot of elements from other games like dungeon exploring and weapon unlocking from the Legend of Zelda and fighting from action games like Devil May Cry. Heck, it even has a bit of Portal style gameplay in it.

omg, without GFWL.
hopefully it's not just two games (this and Metro 2033). however, besides this one and Homefront (announced last year) there's no other game coming out from THQ for PC. let's just hope they completely dropped GFWL then, even in multiplayer titles.

Why would he have to do that?

It's the same game and it looks like the kind that plays better with a controller and he has less chances of encountering bugs on a console then he does on the PC.

I really doubt they're going to do anything special with the PC version that would make it any different from the console version.

You can use 360 controller on pc so controler will not be a problem. Also the pc version will have better graphcis that is very important. If it is a good port with no bugs then why not buy it for pc?

It's still the exact same game, graphics are seriously not that important and reselling the 360 game and then buying it on PC would just be a loss of money since he won't be able to sell it for the full price.
Also, why are you so sure the graphics will be improved? Being ported to PC doesn't automatically mean better graphics.

Looks cool. I'll be buying it for sure

I was hoping it'd be ported and here it is.

EDIT: I like how it has low GPU requirements. That should mean that it will run nicely in stereoscopic 3D which will be awesome to experience.

It's a shame I won't have enough money to spend on games when this one is released. I have heard very good things about it. I'll have to wait until the end of summer, or the Steam sales.

It appears Darksiders for PC was quietly delayed until September. =/ I was really looking forward to this coming out in a few weeks. Now over three months away? =/ It's a port, that's already six months after the original release, do you really need nine months to port something to the PC?

Well that's unfortunate. Was really looking forward to playing it on PC.
